The Village Compost Site is located behind the village shed at 400 South State Street.
This site accepts leaves & grass only.
Leaves & grass must be removed from any bags or containers. You must take all containers with you.
Brush & Tree Branches
The Village Quarry at 535 Park Avenue accepts brush and tree branches.

The Village of Argyle Prohibits dumping of debris onto village streets per Argyle Village Ordinance 568-14
It shall be unlawful for any person to deposit or cause to be deposited, dump, sort, scatter, or leave any rubbish, stone, wire, earth, ashes, cinders, sawdust, hay, glass, manure, filth, paper, snow, ice, dirt, grass, leaves, construction waste, garbage, or other offensive or noxious material in any public street, sidewalk , alley, or upon any public property or upon any property of another, without the expressed permission of the owner or occupant thereof. Such unlawful material or obstruction may be removed by the village and the cost thereof billed to the violator pursuant to Sec. 66.0627, Wisconsin State Statutes.
