Reliable Water for a Growing Community
Argyle’s municipal water system is built for both current demand and future growth, ensuring clean, dependable water for residents and businesses. Supplied by three municipal wells, our system has a maximum pumping capacity of 121,000 gallons per day—nearly double the village’s peak daily usage of 65,000 gallons—providing a strong buffer for expansion. With a storage capacity of 200,000 gallons, Argyle is well-prepared to meet the community’s needs.
To maintain and improve our water infrastructure, the Argyle Water Utility undertakes upgrades to the distribution system. As street repair projects arise, we proactively modernize underground infrastructure before paving begins—ensuring long-term reliability and efficiency.
Key improvements include:
- Replacing undersized mains with larger ones to enhance fire hydrant flow.
- Installing new valves to better isolate potential issues, minimizing service disruptions.
Through strategic upgrades and careful planning, Argyle’s water system remains resilient, efficient, and ready for the future.
