The Argyle Public Library has been established in the community since 1881. Part of the larger Southwest Library System, the library offers a wide variety of services: children’s and adult’s books available on shelves and through interlibrary loan, DVD’s, books on cd, magazines, newspapers as well as full digital library access for e-books and audiobooks. The library is available for accessing the internet and is equipped with Excel and Word programs as well as printing.
Programs are frequently offered to adults and children. The library offers an inviting atmosphere for casual reading and WiFi for personal computer use.
