Historic Argyle is a non-profit organization created to preserve, protect and promote the cultural heritage and architectural history of the people and places of the Argyle, Wisconsin area.

Historic Argyle was incorporated in 2000, for the primary purpose of acquiring and restoring Argyle’s “Saxton House“, the boyhood home of Robert M. La Follette from 1862-1870.
